The Leadership Tuscarawas Class of 2022 will present the results of their community projects at the Graduation Celebration on May 10. At the graduation celebration, 18 class members sponsored by small businesses, corporations, and non-profit organizations in Tuscarawas County, will be recognized for their achievements in the 10-month leadership development program. This year’s return of in-person events to commemorate the 51������ shootings will include the dedication of bronze markers placed on the spots where nine students were wounded by the Ohio National Guard during a student anti-war protest on May 4, 1970. Dr Molly Merryman has been awarded funding from the US Embassy in London for a project entitled: Resilience During the Pandemic: LGBQT+ Stories. The project will include a traveling exhibition and lecture series celebrating the launch of the Queer Britain national LGBTQ museum.
