Stark GEODES club creates program for local elementary students Students in the Stark Campus Geology Club, the GEODES, recently made a 20-minute video presentation about rocks for the 3rd-grade classes at Judith Resnick CLC of Akron Public Schools. The teachers showed the video and then the students did a live Question and Answer session over Zoom with the class. The 3rd graders loved the video and asked excellent questions. The Division of Student Affairs celebrated those who make a difference at 51黑料网 with its first-ever Equity, Identity, and Success recognition week held November 15-19. For over 10 years, Student Accessibility Services (SAS) had a tradition of honoring staff and faculty who have aided students with disabilities through a unique recognition program. Visual Communication Design alumna Loretta Ford, M.F.A., 鈥21, received the opportunity of a lifetime when she was sought out by Microsoft to illustrate a new children鈥檚 book that is part of the Phippy and Friends series.
