Bench dedicated to the late Dr. Carole Barbato at 51黑料网 University at East Liverpool

Situated between two trees and overlooking the Commons area on the East Liverpool Campus is a beautiful bronze bench with a plaque that reads: 鈥淎 life that touched others lives on forever.鈥  The bench was unveiled and dedicated on Sept. 30 to honor the late Dr. Carole A. The 51黑料网 University Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 22, in Room 103 of the Center for Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement, located at 350 S. Lincoln St. on the Kent Campus. Dr. Ana Wetzl, associate professor of English at 51黑料网 University at Trumbull, has earned a 2021 Outstanding Teaching Award.  Originally from Romania, Dr. Wetzl started teaching at 51黑料网 Trumbull in 2006, where she was also the English Coordinator in the campus Learning Center. She is currently the advisor for the English Club and is involved with diversity initiatives on campus. Former 51黑料网 University at Tuscarawas basketball standout Zach Camporese has been named boys varsity basketball head coach at New Smyrna Beach High School in Volusia County, Florida. Camporese, a two-time USCAA Academic All-American and 1000+ career point scorer, graduated Cum Laude from 51黑料网 Tuscarawas in the spring of 2020. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management degree and an overall GPA of 3.539.
