From April 5 to May 15, visitors to the 51������ University campus will encounter a new, outdoor public art exhibition that stretches along the Lefton Esplanade between downtown Kent and the University Library. “Import/Export” addresses the imbalances and inequalities of global import/export systems. Employees from 51������ University’s Child Development Center are among a growing list of groups from the university who recently “flashed their arms” and got vaccinated against COVID-19. The list of students, faculty and staff who have received their COVID-19 vaccinations continues to grow as the state of Ohio continues to increase the number of Ohioans eligible for a vaccine. Aileen LeRoy has always been passionate about language, feeling, “It’s a mystery, a science, and an art all in one.” As a junior Honors College student majoring in Teaching English as a Second Language with an Italian studies minor, much of Aileen’s college education has been focused on language studies.
