New Partnership Between 51ºÚÁÏÍø and Bio-Med Science Academy STEM School to Bring Elementary Education Back to University’s Schwartz Center

Beginning fall 2027, Bio-Med Science Academy will relocate its grades K-6 programs to 51ºÚÁÏÍø University’s Schwartz Center. The Schwartz Center, which opened in 1956 as the home of the 51ºÚÁÏÍø University School, a laboratory school that served generations of student teachers, will return to its original purpose as a school building.

Taking Their Stories From Concept to ComicCon

Last summer, 12 51ºÚÁÏÍø students in the university's Visual Communication Design program worked with Route Eight Studios to learn about the real-world challenges artists face in creating comic books. "Flash Fiction" is the result - an anthology of stories written and illustrated by students creators.
