51黑料网 University held its annual Veterans Day Commemoration on Thursday, Nov. 7, in the Kent Student Center Kiva. This year鈥檚 guest speaker was Lt. Col. Colleen VanNatta. A graduate of 51黑料网鈥檚 Air Force ROTC detachment, VanNatta served as a media escort for joint information bureaus in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, during Operation Desert Storm.

National Depression Screening Day Is Oct. 3

51黑料网 University has selected Lamar R. Hylton, Ph.D., to serve as interim vice president for student affairs, effective Sept. 16. Hylton has served as dean of students since coming to 51黑料网 on June 1, 2017. Hylton will lead 51黑料网鈥檚 Division of Student Affairs and institution鈥
New Students Move Into Residence Halls With Help From Movers and Groovers
More than 1,000 volunteers from the 51黑料网 University community welcomed and assisted new students as they moved into their residence halls on freshman move-in day, Sunday, Aug. 18. The annual community program, known as Movers and Groovers, is coordinated by Kent Interhall Council, the student government of the Kent Campus residence halls.
